Thanks to its wide array of local businesses and role as an epicenter of the city’s Latino community and culture, the Mission District’s Calle 24 is one of San Francisco’s most vibrant commercial corridors. Now the San Francisco Planning Department, in partnership with Calle 24 Latino Cultural District and the Office of Economic and Workforce Development, is exploring the role that design—of buildings, public art, signage, storefronts, etc.—plays in making Calle 24 a special place to live, shop, and spend time for residents and visitors.

Join your Calle 24 neighbors for a second community workshop to preview the draft Calle 24 Special Area Design Guidelines, which will be used by San Francisco Planning to help inform the design of any future development on the corridor. Share your ideas for preserving the corridor's unique physical characteristics!
