Join District 8 Supervisor Rafael Mandelman, Mission Dolores Neighborhood Association, and San Francisco Planning Department for a community meeting about landmark district designations. Planning Department staff will be on hand to discuss the status of the designations, to consider features of the districts to be preserved, and to outline Certificates of Appropriateness review processes in landmark districts.

Landmark Districts are unique and irreplaceable assets, serving to enhance and protect many of the physical surroundings in which past generations lived. Alert Alley and Chula Lane–Abbey Street Early Residential Districts are representative collections of Italianate, Classical Revival and Queen Anne residential buildings constructed between 1865 and 1912.
