Mission Rock
Mission Rock is an approved, mixed-use development at Seawall Lot 337 and Pier 48, an approximately 28-acre Port-owned property across McCovey Cove from Oracle Park. For more detailed information, please visit the Port of San Francisco project page.

Planning Code Section 249.80 and the Development Agreement for the project create an administrative review process for buildings constructed at Mission Rock.

Planning Department staff, along with staff of the Port of San Francisco, review proposed construction at Mission Rock for consistency with the Design Controls for the Project and create a staff report detailing how each proposed building complies with the Design Controls. Additionally, each report details any requested modifications to the requirements of the Design Controls and provides a recommendation to the Planning Director or Planning Commission on whether to approve such modifications.
