Planning Director Bulletin No. 7: Housing Crisis Act of 2019
Effective January 1, 2020, and further amended in 2021, California Senate Bill 330 (SB 330), “The Housing Crisis Act of 2019,” (HCA) establishes a statewide “housing emergency” until January 1, 2030. This Bulletin outlines how the Planning Department administers the provisions of the Housing Crisis Act of 2019 during the statewide housing emergency period through January 1, 2030.
