Residential Nexus Analysis Supporting San Francisco's Residential Affordable Housing Program

The City's Inclusionary Affordable Housing Program, which requires certain residential development projects to pay an Affordable Housing Fee, is set forth in Planning Code Section 415 through 415.11. Consistent with the Mitigation Fee Act, Government Code Sections 66000 et seq., the City prepares nexus studies demonstrating that the construction of new residential developments results in the need for affordable housing, and updates such studies periodically.
