Affordable Housing Streamlined Approval (SB 4)
SB 4, also known as CA Government Code section 65913.16, provides a ministerial approval process for 100% affordable projects located on land that is owned by an independent institution of higher education or religious institution on or before January 1, 2024. SB 4 expires on January 1, 2036.
