Urban Design Guidelines

San Francisco’s architecture spans various eras and architectural styles, but its urban fabric maintains a high degree of continuity and consistency within the variety of buildings. The Urban Design Guidelines establish that new buildings have the responsibility to sensitively respond to their context and existing patterns of development while being of their moment.
