How does the General Plan shape San Francisco?
San Francisco Planning is leading significant updates to the General Plan that will affect housing, transportation, climate resilience and safety, and environmental justice in all neighborhoods and communities – your input is needed!
Join this session to hear from a panel of City leaders on how today’s challenges and tomorrow’s visions are captured by the General Plan. Our keynote speaker will provide opening remarks tying our current crises and recovery efforts to the City’s future, and department leaders will share successes from implementing the goals and policies within the General Plan.
Come with questions and your ideas for making San Francisco more inclusive, livable, and healthy city for all. You will leave with a sharper understanding how your input shapes the City and examples of how the General Plan works for you and your communities.
Guest Speakers:
London N. Breed, Mayor of San Francisco
Rich Hillis, Director of San Francisco Planning
Rachael Tanner, Commissioner of San Francisco Planning Commission
Debbie Raphael, Director of the Department of the Environment
