Showplace / SoMa Neighborhood Analysis & Coordination Study Meeting #2

Several plans and transportation projects are positioning the Showplace/SoMa neighborhoods for long-term change. This Study is coordinating urban design between these efforts while analyzing opportunities for:

• Additional market-rate and affordable housing
• Production, Distribution and Repair jobs; and
• Access to public space

At the first workshop in November 2019, San Francisco Planning introduced the project and gathered input on various planning, urban design and transportation issues in the area.

This second workshop will focus on open space and streets. It will be an opportunity to learn more and share your ideas on how the area’s public spaces, recreation activities, and streets can better serve community needs.
