Nearly all projects entitled by SF Planning must secure building permits within three years. Under Assembly Bill 2729, the State has granted an additional 18 months to secure permits. AB 2729 may benefit housing projects that were entitled between October 1, 2020 and December 31, 2022. The extension is automatic and requires no additional application.
