Planning Code 317 Exemption

Planning Code Section 317(c) allows some dwelling units or unauthorized dwelling units to be removed without a conditional use authorization if they meet specific criteria outlined in the affidavit. Projects must be located outside of the Priority Equity Geographies Special Use District, this is a layer that can be found on the zoning tab of the Property Information Map. For information on previous tenant history and evictions please visit the San Francisco Rent Board. To review eviction history before filing a Planning application, please submit a Request for Duplication Services and File Review to the San Francisco Rent Board. 

How to Submit

Submit a completed PDF request form and all required documents to CPC.Intake@sfgov.org
