Instructions for Calling-In to a Meeting

  1. DIAL the number listed for the meeting toll-free at 1 (415) 655-0001.
  2. Enter the Access Code for this meeting: 2486 862 0895 then press #. If prompted for an Attendee ID, just press #.
    Please note: the Access Code will change for every meeting.
  3. Stop and LISTEN.
  4. Wait for Public Comment to be announced (by Item # or for General Public Comment).
  5. When the Commission/Hearing Secretary calls Public Comment, press *3 to raise your hand.
  6. Once you raise your hand, you will hear the prompt, “You have raised your hand to ask a question. Please wait to speak until the host calls on you.” If you no longer want to submit public comment, press*3 to lower your hand.
  7. Wait for your turn to speak.
  8. When you hear the prompt, “Your line is unmuted” – THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO PROVIDE YOUR PUBLIC COMMENT.
  9. The Commission/Hearing Secretary will indicate how much time you have to provide your comments. You will be alerted when you have 30 seconds remaining.

Notice is hereby given to the general public that applications involving the properties and/or issues described below have been filed with the Planning Department for review as set forth in the City Planning Code. The Planning Commission intends to hold a PUBLIC HEARING on these items and on other matters on Thursday, July 14, 2022, beginning at 1:00 p.m. or later. Please be advised that due to the COVID-19 emergency, the Planning Commission may conduct this hearing remotely using videoconferencing technology or in-person at City Hall. 2022-002780CUA: 3908 24TH STREET – north side, between Noe Street and Sanchez Street; Lot 040 of Assessor’s Block 3654 (District 8) – Request for Conditional Use Authorization, pursuant to Planning Code Section 728 and 303 establish a Financial Service use (d.b.a SF Fire Credit Union) within an existing, vacant, approximately 1,955 square foot commercial space on the ground floor of the subject property within the 24th Street – Noe Valley Neighborhood Commercial Zoning District and 40-X Height and Bulk District. There will be no expansion of the building envelope. The project has qualified for review under the Planning Commission’s Community Business Priority Processing Program (“CB3P”). 2021-012857CUA: 2110 CHESTNUT STREET- north side of Chestnut Street between Pierce Street and Mallorca Way; Lot 016 in Assessor’s Block 0486A (District 2) - Request for a Conditional Use Authorization pursuant to Planning Code Sections 303, 303.1 and 711 to permit a Formula Retail Use (d.b.a. Faherty) within the NC-2 (Neighborhood Commercial, Small-Scale) Zoning District and 40-X Height and Bulk District. In addition to interior tenant improvements, the project proposes the removal of an existing awning and non-original moldings, new wood and glass door, new light fixtures and new signage. A Planning Commission approval at the public hearing would constitute the Approval Action for the project for the purposes of CEQA, pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 31.04(h). 2021-008697CUA: 4400 17TH STREET- north side of 17th Street and between Temple Street and Roosevelt Way; Lot 005 in Assessor’s Block 2645 (District 8) - Request for a Conditional Use Authorization pursuant to Planning Code Sections 186 and 303 for the reestablishment of a Limited Commercial General Grocery Store Use with an Accessory Deli Use (D.B.A. “ Corona Heights Market”) at an existing two-story, mixed-use building located within the RH-2 (Residential-House, Two-Family) Zoning District and 40-X Height and Bulk District. No interior or exterior alterations are proposed. A Planning Commission approval at the public hearing would constitute the Approval Action for the project for the purposes of CEQA, pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 31.04(h). The Project Site is located within the RC-4 (Residential-Commercial, High Density) District and the 80-T Height and Bulk District. A Planning Commission approval at the public hearing would constitute the Approval Action for the project for the purposes of CEQA, pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 31.04(h). 2021-006295DRP: 766 DUNCAN STREET between Douglass and Diamond Streets; Lot 007C in Assessor’s Block 6588 (District 8) - Discretionary Review of Building Permit Application no.. 2020.1207.0379 to legalize the existing stairs as built in the RH-1 (Residential House - One Family) Zoning District and 40-X Height and Bulk District.  This action constitutes the Approval Action for the project for the purposes of CEQA, pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 31.04(h).). 2020-002325DRP-02: 11 BURNETT AVENUE N (313 BURNETT) / 407 BURNETT (333 BURNETT) – near Gardenside Drive; Lots 023 in Assessor’s Blocks 2719C; Lots 068 and 036 in Assessor’s Block 2745 (District 8) - Discretionary Review of Building Permit Application no. 2020.0128.2900 and 20201.0213.4357 to construct two new 9 unit residential buildings on a subdivided vacant lot within the RM-1 (Residential Mixed – Low-Density) Zoning District and 40-X Height and Bulk District.  This action constitutes the Approval Action for the project for the purposes of CEQA, pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 31.04(h).). It is strongly recommended that persons submit their comments in writing in advance of the hearing. Written comments may be submitted via email directly to the case planner.

Persons who are unable to attend the scheduled Commission hearing may submit written comments regarding these cases to the individuals listed for each above via email or at the Planning Department, 49 South Van Ness Avenue, Suite 1400, San Francisco, CA 94103. Comments received by 9:30 a.m. on the day of the hearing will be made a part of the official record and will be brought to the attention of the Commission.

Pursuant to Government Code § 65009, if you challenge, in court, the approval of a conditional use, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
