  6. Once you raise your hand, you will hear the prompt: "You have raised your hand to ask a question. Please wait to speak until the host calls on you."

Notice is hereby given to the general public that applications involving the properties and/or issues described below have been filed with the Planning Department for review as set forth in the City Planning Code. The Planning Commission intends to hold a PUBLIC HEARING on these items and on other matters on Thursday, March 16, 2023, beginning at 1:00 p.m. or later. Please be advised that due to the COVID-19 emergency, the Planning Commission may conduct this hearing remotely using videoconferencing technology or in-person at City Hall. 2022-007251CUA: 300 PAGE STREET – corner of Page Street and Laguna Street; Lot 002 in Assessor’s Block 0840 (District 5) - Request for Conditional Use Authorization pursuant to Planning Code Sections 209.4 and 303 to establish a Hotel use, of 5 guest rooms, within a three-story building containing a residential Religious Institutional use, within the Residential Transit Oriented District (RTO) Zoning District and a 40-X Height and Bulk District. A Planning Commission approval at the public hearing would constitute the Approval Action for the project for the purposes of CEQA, pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 31.04(h). A Planning Commission approval at the public hearing would constitute the Approval Action for the project for the purposes of CEQA, pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 31.04(h). 2015-011202DRM: 603 TENNESSEE STREET – Eastside of Tennessee Street between Mariposa Street and 18th Street; Lot 015 in Assessor’s Block 3995 (District 10) - Request for Mandatory Discretionary Review of Building Permit Application Nos. 2016.0226.0667 & 2016.0226.0673 to allow a change the tenure of the on-site affordable units from an Ownership Project to a Rental Project, per Planning Code Section 415.5(g)(3) within the Urban Mixed Use (UMU) Zoning District and a 58-X Height and Bulk District. This is not defined as a project under CEQA Guidelines Sections 15378 and 15060(c)(2) because it would not result in a direct or indirect physical change in the environment. 2022-004869CUA: 3352 STEINER STREET – East side of Steiner Street intersecting with Church Street; Lot 022 in Assessor’s Block 0491 (District 2) – Request for Conditional Use Authorization pursuant to Planning Code Sections 303, 303.1, and 711 to establish an approximately 2,374 square-foot Formula Retail Use (d.b.a. Bluestone Lane) within a vacant ground floor commercial space of an existing three-story mixed-use building within the NC-2 (Small Scale Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning District, and a 40-X Height and Bulk District. The Planning Department found that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). 2021-001539DRP: 984 CORBETT AVENUE between Cuesta and Hopkins Streets; Lot 12 in Assessor’s Block 2826 (District 8) – Discretionary Review of Building Permit Application no. 2021.0119.2928 to construct a two-story rear horizontal addition and a fourth-story vertical addition to a single-family dwelling within the RH-1 (Residential House - One Family District) and 40-X Height and Bulk District. This action constitutes the Approval Action for the project for the purposes of CEQA, pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 31.04(h).). It is strongly recommended that persons submit their comments in writing in advance of the hearing. Written comments may be submitted via email directly to the case planner.

Persons who are unable to attend the scheduled Commission hearing may submit written comments regarding these cases to the individuals listed for each above via email or at the Planning Department, 49 South Van Ness Avenue, Suite 1400, San Francisco, CA 94103. Comments received by 9:30 a.m. on the day of the hearing will be made a part of the official record and will be brought to the attention of the Planning Commission.

Pursuant to Government Code § 65009, if you challenge, in court, the approval of a conditional use, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
