- Enter the Access Code for this meeting: 2498 409 3417 then press #. If prompted for an Attendee ID, just press #.

- Wait for Public Comment to be announced (by Item # or for General Public Comment).
- When the Commission/Hearing Secretary calls Public Comment, press *3 to raise your hand.
- Once you raise your hand, you will hear the prompt, “You have raised your hand to ask a question. Please wait to speak until the host calls on you.” If you no longer want to submit public comment, press*3 to lower your hand.
- Wait for your turn to speak.
- When you hear the prompt, “Your line is unmuted” – THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO PROVIDE YOUR PUBLIC COMMENT.
- The Commission/Hearing Secretary will indicate how much time you have to provide your comments. You will be alerted when you have 30 seconds remaining.

Notice is hereby given to the general public that applications involving the properties and/or issues described below have been filed with the Planning Department for review as set forth in the City Planning Code. The Planning Commission intends to hold a PUBLIC HEARING on these items and on other matters on Thursday, April 28, 2022, beginning at 1:00 p.m. or later. Please be advised that due to the COVID-19 emergency, the Planning Commission may conduct this hearing remotely using videoconferencing technology or in-person at City Hall. 2021-010898CUA: 1017 DIVISADERO STREET – west side between Turk Street and Golden Gate Avenue, Lot 022 of Assessor’s Block 1153 (District 5) – Request for Conditional Use Authorization, pursuant to Planning Code Sections 202.2, 202.12, 303, and 759 to remove a Laundromat use and establish an approximately 1,183 square-foot Cannabis Retail Use on the ground floor within an existing two-story mixed-use building, within the Divisadero Street NCT (Neighborhood Commercial Transit) Zoning District, and the 65-A Height and Bulk District. A Planning Commission approval at the public hearing would constitute the Approval Action for the project for the purposes of CEQA, pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 31.04(h). 2022-001116CUA: 1548 CALIFORNIA STREET – North side of California Street between Polk and Larkin Streets; Lot 012 in Assessor's Block 0644 (District 3) - Request for Conditional Use Authorization, pursuant to Planning Code Sections 303 and 723 to establish an approximately 250 square foot accessory Liquor Store within an existing Bar Use (dba. Soda Popinski’s). The use will primarily provide spirits produced by San Francisco and Bay Area micro-distilleries. The proposal will involve no interior tenant improvements. There will be no expansion of the existing building envelope. The project site is located within a the NCD-Polk Street Neighborhood Commercial Zoning District and a 65-A Height and Bulk District. 2016-004823CUA-02/ENX-02: 744 HARRISON STREET – Northwest corner of the intersection of Lapu Lapu Street; Lot 028 and 054 in Assessor's Block 3751 (District 6) - Request for Conditional Use Authorization and Large Project Authorization, pursuant to Planning Code Sections 249.40A, 303, 329 and 842.49 to extend, for a term of three years, entitlements previously approved by the Planning Commission through Motions No. 20093 and 20094 on January 18, 2018. The proposed project includes the demolition of the existing two-story office building and construction of a new 85-foot tall, eight-story, mixed-use building containing a 22,148-square foot tourist hotel (50 rooms), 5,246 square feet of group housing (9 rooms with a common kitchen, dining and living area) and 1,234 square feet of restaurant use and an outdoor activity area at the ground floor. Under the Large Project Authorization, the project sought exceptions from the Planning Code requirements for rear yard, open space and street frontage pursuant to Planning Code Sections 134, 135, and 145.1, respectively. The project site is located within a the CMUO-Central SoMa Mixed-Use Office Zoning District, the Youth and Family Zone Special Use District, the Central SoMa Special Use District and 85-X and 45-X Height and Bulk District. 2020-000118CUA: 1660 SHAFTER AVENUE – North side of Shafter Avenue between Third and Lane Streets, Lot 006 of Assessor’s Block 5342 (District 10) – Request for a Conditional Use Authorization pursuant to Planning Code Sections 209.1, 303, and 317 to demolish a one-story, 520 square foot, single family-home and construct a three-story, 4,344 square foot, two-unit residential building that will have roof decks and a two-car garage. The project site is within the Residential-House, Two Family (RH-2) Zoning District and the 40-X Height and Bulk District. 2021-009729DRP: 43 NORFOLK STREET – north side between Folsom and Harrison Streets, Lot 052 of Assessor’s Block 3521 (District 6) – Request for Discretionary Review of Building Permit Application No. 2021.0813.6389, which proposes a change of use of 1,741 square feet to Cannabis Retail, within the WMUG (Western SoMa Mixed-Use General) Zoning District, the Western SoMa Special Use District, and the 55-X Height and Bulk District. A Planning Commission approval at the public hearing would constitute the Approval Action for the project for the purposes of CEQA, pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 31.04(h). It is strongly recommended that persons submit their comments in writing in advance of the hearing. Written comments may be submitted via email directly to the case planner.
Persons who are unable to attend the scheduled Commission hearing may submit written comments regarding these cases to the individuals listed for each above via email or at the Planning Department, 49 South Van Ness Avenue, Suite 1400, San Francisco, CA 94103. Comments received by 9:30 a.m. on the day of the hearing will be made a part of the official record and will be brought to the attention of the Commission.
Pursuant to Government Code § 65009, if you challenge, in court, the approval of a conditional use, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
